Volunteers

Arizona

All requests must be genealogy related!!!

The Arizona Archives has a wonderful group of volunteers that are great at helping find obits and other articles on Arizona's past events.  This is where you should request obituaries. They have a website at http://www.lib.az.us/index.html  They list all the documents they have. They can also be emailed at research@lib.az.us please include as much detailed information about the person you are looking for and be sure to include your mailing and email address.

I am offering to do lookups from a book on Cave Creek, Arizona which is about 30 miles NE of Phoenix. It was settled around 1865. Rather than be bombarded with names I have extracted the index from the book. If you find an entry on the list below that interests you, please send email to: Diane.Casey@bull.com to make arrangements to receive a photocopy.

Genealogy Help List-AZ
Need help with Maricopa County Courthouse information, including marriage and death records. This link also has other county look-up volunteers.

National Archives Research
If you are interested in obtaining documents from the National Archives in Washington DC this volunteer is willing to search for them.

Other volunteers should come on-line shortly.

If you have anything to add to the pages or would like to be added here, please email me.
