James Raymond Daylor, 50, of Scottsdale, an automotive mechanic, died Sept. 3, 1998. He was born in Brockton, Massachusetts. Raymond E. Deyo, 69, of Fountain Hills, a retired director of space programs at McDonnal Douglas, died Feb 22, 1998. He was born in El Paso, and was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of The Club of Fountain Hills and the Executive Service Corporation of Arizona. Survivors include his wife, Joan; daughter, Janet Riphagen; son, David; sisters, Mildred ROSKE and Phyllis SIDNER; brother, Allan; and four grandchildren. DICKSON, Mrs. Hester B. BAUSMA
Funeral services for Mrs. Hester B. DICKSON, 75, who died December 15, 1928, at Mammoth, Arizona, were conducted with Rev. WESTERN of the Methodist church officiating. Miss OSBORN and Mrs. SCOTT, accompanied by Mrs. J. T. MILNER, furnished music at the services. Interment was made in the Bowie Cemetery. Mrs. DICKSON was born June 14, 1853, at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Seven of eight children survive her. They are Ford DICKSON, Mammoth; Mrs. Myra BLAIR, Los Angeles; John W. DICKSON, Paradise, Arizona; Lamile DICKSON, Tombstone; Antico DICKSON, Bisbee; Mrs. Mona DAY, Fort Worth, Texas; Mrs. Seora IMEL, Ponca City, Oklahoma. James E. DICKSON came to this district in 1898, purchasing a ranch in Bear Springs Pass. Mrs. Dickson and family joined him in 1904. Mr. Dickson died in 1917 and since that time Mrs. Dickson lived with her children. She was a member of the Episcopal Church. DOMAGALSKI, Margaret
Margaret Domagalski, 70, of Casa Grande, a security officer, died July 10, 1998. She was born in Marseilles, Ill. Survivors include her husband, Slyvester; daughter, Ruth Vylasek and Sylvia; son, John; sisters, Pauline Nelson, Marvelle Mueller and Norma Brewer; brothers Dewayne and Robert Smeathers; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. DAN DREW
Plant Superintendent – Buckeye, joined the Company in May, 1948. At that time he was with Buckeye Sand & Rock. This was sold to United Materials in 1961, which became part of United Metro in 1966. Dan was Plant Superintendent from 1966 until he retired in July, 1978.
OBITUARY:
DREW, Dan E. Dan E. Drew, 77, Born Jan. 25, 1930 in Buckeye, AZ. Died March 12, 2007 in Vernon, AZ. Dan was born in Buckeye to area settlers Frank & Cora Mae (KELL) DREW. He attended schools here and had graduated from Phoenix Technical School in 1948. He joined his Father in operating the Buckeye Sand & Gravel Co. He then managed that company until his retirement. Dan was a charter member of the Buckeye Elks Lodge and also a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his 3 sons John & Frank both of Buckeye, Don of Flagstaff. There are 10 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Visitation was held at the Buckeye Funeral Home. Funeral Service at the Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park, 23000 W. Broadway in Buckeye. He will be interred near his late wife of 44 years, Donna DREW, who died in 1993. Published in The Arizona Republic on 3/18/2007.

Donald Anthony Dubar, 60, of Tempe, owner of a travel agency, died June 24, 1998. He was born in Gardner, Massachusetts, and was an Army Reserve veteran. DUKE, Wiley
Wiley Duke Dies in Mesa
Mesa--Wiley Duke, 86-year-old Mesa pioneer, died Sunday night in the local hospital following a week's illness. A native of Mississippi, Mr. Duke was an early settler of the Salt River valley, coming here 58 years ago. During the activ years of his life, he was engaged in farming and was the owner of a large amount of property in the valley. His wife, Betty Carol, two step-daughters, Mrs. Hazel GARDNER and Mrs. Della DREW, the latter of Burlingame, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Abbie RICK, Chickasha, Oklahoma; and two brothers, Henry, Mesa and Harrison, Sulpher Springs, Oklahoma, survive. Mary Louise Durbin, 85, of Casa Grande, the retired owner of Acme Business Services in Indiana, died June 15, 1998. She was born in Vincennes, Ind., and was president of the Women's Club of Casa Grande. Survivorrs include her sons, Gerald and Phillip; sisters, Dorothy ALLEN and Helen LYNCH; three grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. DRAPER, Mrs. Bessie

DWYER, John Leo
John Leo Dwyer, PhD, 36, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away at his home on January 5, 2007. A dedicated scholar, he devoted much of his life to learning and working to educate others in health care fields, with a focus in diabetes prevention and man-agement. Having earned Masters Degrees in public health administration and management, and a PhD in naturopathy, John generously shared his time and knowledge in his roles as a pharmaceutical consultant and certified health education specialist. He was involved in several professional societies, but the one closest to his heart was the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, where he volunteered for 3 years (more than 1000 hours) hoping to find a cure for the disease that afflicted him since age 12. His vitality and passion for life will be truly missed by the many people and friends whose lives he touched. John is survived by his father, Gerald DWYER of Scottsdale and his siblings, Kathryn DWYER of New York City, Gerald DWYER, Jr., of Huntsville, Alabama, and Colleen DWYER of Henderson, Nevada. His family celebrated his life in a private service at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Contributions may be made in John's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 4343 E. Camelback Rd. Suite #230, Phoenix, AZ 85018.

Judy Kay Dysthe, 51, of Phoenix, a homemaker, died Aug. 11, 1998. She was born in McAlister, Okla. Survivors include her daughter, Tamera Kay; son, Gordon Travis; sisters, Josie, Hazel, Clydie and Imaree; brothers, Curtis and Kenneth; and two grandchildren. Services are private.
