Apache County is home to the first commercial Lavender Farm in the state of Arizona:
Red Rock Lavender in Concho.

They hold their Lavender Festival the last week of June, first week of July annually
and also sell their Lavender products online.

Arizona has several hundred ghost towns, many with colorful names that recall what
the people naming them may have left behind or expected to find.
